Under Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 21-5-34), campaign contributions above $100 must be publicly reported to the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission. Reported information — including contributor name, address, occupation, and employer — becomes part of the public record and will be accessible through the Commission's website.

Federal law also prohibits the Campaign from accepting contributions from certain sources (e.g., foreign nationals, federal contractors). Contributor information may be verified and, if required, referred to appropriate authorities.

 

4.2  Service Providers


We may share your information with trusted third-party vendors who assist in operating the Site or administering Campaign activities, including payment processors, email service providers, and web hosting services. These vendors are contractually obligated to use your information only as directed by the Campaign and in compliance with applicable law.

We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all applicable carrier regulations regarding text messaging.


6. Data Retention

Campaign finance records are retained for a minimum period required by Georgia law. Records of contributions are typically maintained for a minimum of five (5) years following the close of the applicable election cycle.

After the Campaign concludes, personal data not required for legal compliance may be securely deleted or anonymized. A designated person responsible for maintaining campaign records will be identified in the Campaign's termination filing as required by O.C.G.A. § 21-5-34(m).

•    Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-18-70 et seq. — note that certain campaign finance records are public records

Contributions to the Campaign are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.
